UPDATE: The aggressor father was arrested by the Police. “The 48-year-old attacker was detained by the police and taken to hearings at the Câmpulung Moldovenesc Police Station, after which, once finalized, procedural measures, including preventive release measures, will be ordered,” said Ionuţ Epureanu, spokesman. of the Suceava Police Inspectorate.
A 7-year-old boy from the Frumosu commune in Suceava was mercilessly beaten by his own father. The horror scene was filmed in the family home. The recording of the video then reached Facebook, under still unclear circumstances.
The movie shows the man grabbing his son by the neck, pushing him upright on the ground, face up, then lifting him off the ground and simply hitting him on the floor of the house. Then he grabs an object that looks like a board and hits the thirsty boy.
Meanwhile, the boy’s mother is in the room and watches the whole scene from a chair, she even seems to have fun while smoking a cigarette.
The woman does not intervene to protect her child from the father’s wrath.

After the video appeared in public space, the Suceava police officers notified each other and began an investigation. They contacted the mother of the abused child and asked if she needed a protection order and if she wanted to file a complaint against her husband for the assault. The woman flatly refused to take any action.
The case caught the attention of the Suceava Department of Social Assistance and Child Protection. Social workers conducted an investigation and found that the family has 5 children: a 7-year-old, two 10-year-old twins, and two teenagers ages 14 and 15.
Realizing that she was running the risk of being deprived of her parental authority, the mother agreed to leave the marital home to take refuge with her children in a care center of the Department of Social Assistance.
The incident in Suceava County took place two days after a similar incident, when a man struck two children in a park in Hunedoara.
