Coast Guard border guards found a Lamborghini Huracan car in Constanța wanted by German authorities, local press reports.

The car, registered in Romania, was found on December 27, after the Border Police carried out, based on some information, an action in the line of prevention and combat of international traffic with stolen cars.

“The car belonged to a 38-year-old Romanian citizen, resident of Tulcea County, who claimed that he bought it without knowing that he had stolen it,” said Coast Guard representatives.

A team of the Local Police was also present at the scene, which applied a sanction for an illegal parking infraction.

The car, worth around 1,000,000 lei, was not available and border police officers are conducting investigations under the guise of commission of the crime of cover-up.
