Câmpeni Mayor Călin Andreş declares outraged at the appointment of a former waiter as interim manager of the City Hospital and asks the Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru, to return “urgently” about the decision, warning that doctors of the unit do not agree with a new appointment.
Călin Andreş told MEDIAFAX on Friday that the proposal for the new hospital manager was made by PNL President Câmpeni.

“I am outraged at the appointment made by the Minister of Health, Nelu Tătaru, to the position of manager of the Câmpeni City Hospital. In January a competent interim manager, Călin Ilie Bodea, was appointed and asked the minister to extend his mandate for three months, but he did not take into account my proposal and appointed Valentin Gog on Friday to the president of PNL Câmpeni I do not know what he recommends to the new manager, he was a waiter and lately head of waiters in a restaurant in the city. I ask the Minister of Health to return urgently to this appointment and to name Bodea, “said Andreş.
The mayor says that Valentin Gog only worked economically from the position of head of the room at weddings, baptisms and funerals and is a specialist in counting portions of food, while managing a hospital is completely different.
“Working with doctors, coordinating them, managing a hospital with 200 employees, where there are no infections, in this period of the epidemic is not the same as a restaurant. The doctors have already begun to show solidarity with Mr. Bodea and I are not according to his change, “said the mayor of Câmpeni.

Călin Andreş specified that on the new manager’s Facebook page, Valentin Gog wrote that he studied at the “School of Life”.

Andreş specified that, compared to Gog, Călin Ilie Bodea was also a manager at the Chronic Disease Hospital in Câmpeni, worked as a mining engineer, was secretary of state at the Ministry of Economy, and since his appointment as head of the Hospital de la Câmpeni City the unit works well.
