Food juices, broken and emptied. 4 STB stations vandalized, with a breakdown of 32,000 euros

Four STB stations were vandalized during the Monday night protest in the Capital, the damage exceeded 30,000 euros, according to evaluations made by the Bucharest Local Police. The protesters also broke and emptied food and two jukeboxes.

“After the protests that night, the following material damage was recorded: broken windows in four STB stations, in Unirii Park: 10 garbage cans, 4 overturned benches and two broken and emptied food jukeboxes,” according to the Bucharest Local Police assessment.

According to PMB, an STB station costs about 8,000 euros, so from this point of view alone the damage amounts to 32,000 euros.

During the protests on Monday night in the Capital, 12 gendarmes were injured, three of whom were taken to the emergency room without major problems. According to the prefect of the capital, 300 people became violent during the night, towards the end of the protest. On Monday night, the police applied 222 penalties, amounting to 200,000 lei for violating the restrictions.
