A police car was seized on Saturday morning in the parking lot of a supermarket in the city of Suceava in places for people with disabilities. Following the investigations, the two policemen were fined 20,000 lei, reports Monitorul de Suceava.

The Dacia Logan car was parked in two parking spaces specially designed for the disabled. The crew consisted of a Suceava police officer and a local policeman.

The two officers invoked an emergency, namely, the verification of some people who were disturbing people in the area.

Chief Commissioner Ionuț Epureanu, spokesman for the County Police Inspectorate, stated that following the appearance of the photograph in public space, colleagues from the Suceava Roads Office imposed a fine of 2,000 lei on colleagues who committed the offense. .

The fine was issued on the basis of Law 448/2006, on the protection and promotion of the rights of people with disabilities, in reference to the article that sanctions the parking of other means of transport in adapted, reserved and marked places with an international label. for people with disabilities, by law, they will be fined from 2,000 lei to 10,000 lei.
