Andra, a big mistake for Romanians who have talent! There were a few minutes when no one could breathe at the jury table. Two competitors performed on the trapeze, without any protective measures. Maria and Marius Fătu were sensational. The two acrobats showed how amazing can be achieved after years of work and training. The number they performed on the trapezoid was a perfect combination of strength, precision, but also cuteness. One of the most emotional movements they made, at first, without a safety net, was a passionate kiss that brought them applause from the audience. When it came time to judge, one of Andra’s questions left her speechless.
Andra: You were very good doing that. Who are you dear?
Maria Fătu: Duo Fătu, Maria and Marius Fătu.
Andra: So you are brothers?
Maria: get married
Andra: Do you have children?
María: No, unfortunately.
Visibly confused by the jury’s question, especially after the kiss in their stunt number, the two tried to overcome the enormous blunder committed by the artist and explain, with a smile on their face, that they are, in fact, husband and wife. “We met at the circus. It is much better to work with your life partner. Confidence reaches a completely different level in this case.”the two explained.

Maria did high-performance gymnastics and was preparing for a brilliant career. She was still a child when her life completely turned upside down. A serious car accident left her without her first dream. “I ran through a crosswalk without making sure. A man came with a van and took me in in full. That was… I was in recovery for a year and two months. I didn’t even know how to walk anymore. I was immobilized up to the middle of my chest. I had completely thought about gymnastics, but a former colleague helped me rehearse at the circus. I stayed there! It was a scale that we all had to learn from.said Maria Fătu.
