We remind you that two young men died after the car they were traveling in was hit by a passenger train traveling on the Dorohoi-Iaşi route.
The car involved in the accident, a BMW with the Suceava license plate, was dragged dozens of meters on the rails after the impact.
Dragoş Păuceanu and Laura Nechifor, two young people aged 23 and 25 respectively, were in the car that was involved on Sunday 14 February in the terrible train accident in Iaşi.
Dragoş was from Piatra Neamţ and Laura was from Bârlad. On the day of the tragic accident, the two young men were going from Iaşi to Suceava. Both were students at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iasi. The two young men, in a BMW, were crushed by the Iaşi-Dorohoi train. According to the police, Dragoş, the young man at the wheel of the car, did not follow the rules of the level crossing with the railway, and the car was dragged about 150 meters.
The two young men had injuries incompatible with life. The relatives of the young man from Piatra-Neamţ stated, according to the local press, that he bought the car a day ago in Suceava.
