Drumers of the Târgu-Jiu National Road Section (SDN) intervened to remove the snow blizzard from the road from Saturday night to Sunday, on the DN 67C, in the Rânca spa, exit to Transalpina.
The National Road Infrastructure Administration Company published several on its Facebook account images of the intervention on Sunday morning from the exit of the Transalpina. The images show how road workers work with machines and shovels to find cars covered in snow.
According to road users, the cars that were covered in snow were parked on the side of the road, in a parking lot owned by the owners of the cabins in the area.
SDN Târgu Jiu states that the access road to the resort was not affected by the blizzard, the traffic is carried out in clean and wet road conditions, isolated by 1-2 cm snow.
Snow removal teams are permanently involved in all sectors of highways and national highways to ensure safe traffic conditions. In the areas where it rains, the snow is 2 meters and the temperature is -19 degrees.
