Oradea police officers are on alert after a woman was assaulted and stabbed five times on the stairs of the block where she lived on Sunday night. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m., and witnesses say that the 40-year-old woman was attacked by former partner life, which later injured he himself and became invisible. The victim arrived at the hospital in serious condition.
The investigation is now being carried out by the police from the criminal investigation service, who are investigating the area for clues that may lead to the arrest of the attacker.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured the moment the man follows the 40-year-old woman down the stairs to the block where she lived. He hits her several times with an unidentified object and the woman collapses, exhausted, on the floor, on the stairs.
“I’m sitting on the ground floor, they were arguing very loudly on the stairs and when I left I did not leave at that moment, I left after a few minutes and when I left the lady was injured on the floor,” said a tenant.
There is an older relationship between the aggressor and the victim, both being divorced. Lately, fights between them have been the order of the day, neighbors say. As soon as he assaulted his ex-partner, the approximately 50-year-old man disappeared.
The criminals searched the assailant’s car and the police also brought sniffer dogs to find the assailant, but without success.
“The victim, in his 40s, was taken by the SMURD ATI crew to the UPU presenting five stab wounds, in the chest and in the upper abdomen. His condition was serious, but it was stabilized with procedures that allowed decompression of the lungs because some of the wounds were penetrating, ”said Dr. Hadrian Borcea, chief physician of UPU SMURD Bihor.
The case was taken up by the prosecutors of the Bihor Court Deputy Prosecutor’s Office. They opened a criminal case for attempted murder and continue the search, with the help of the police, to catch the aggressor.
