Two climbers, a man and a woman, were found dead Saturday night in the Bucegi massif by mountain rescuers who had been asked to intervene by calling 112.

The 47-year-old woman and the 52-year-old man died on January 2, on one of the most dangerous mountain trails in Romania, Brâna Mare to Morarului, in the Bucegi massif. They were both experienced in climbing, but ventured into the mountains in bad weather, with blizzards and fog.
