Liviu Antal returned to League 1: signed with the UTA

The club’s management reached an agreement with Liviu Antal, who today became part of the UTA.

Born on June 2, 1989 in Șimleul Silvaniei, the offensive footballer (he can also play as a midfielder and forward) made his junior year at LPS Bihorul Oradea.

The milestones of his senior career are Concordia Chiajna, FCM Tg. Mureș, Oţelul Galați, FC Vaslui, Genclerbirligi (Turkey), Beitar Jerusalem (Israel), Hapoel Tel Aviv (Israel), Pandurii Târgu Jiu and Zalgiris Vilnius (Lithuania).

He is the national champion of Romania with Oţelul Galați, in the 2011-2012 season, when he also won the Romanian Super Cup. With the Vilnius group, he won three more trophies: the Lithuanian Cup (2019), the national title and the Lithuanian Super Cup (both in 2020).

In 2011 he was called up to the Romanian national team, for which he played in the match with Paraguay.
