Romanians who arrived in the country during the holidays queued up at the border, at the Nădlac II crossing. The Border Police reported traffic jams at the exit of Romania and asked drivers to use other border crossings.
Large columns of cars formed Sunday afternoon in Nădlac II, and crossing the border is difficult, Romanian police report. The biggest problems are when leaving the country, to Hungary.
The Infotrafic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police reports that road traffic in the direction of Hungary on the A1 Arad – Nădlac motorway is difficult, in one column, when leaving the country.
To avoid traffic jams, drivers who intend to travel to Hungary are advised to use other non-congested border crossings. Therefore, for heavy traffic it is the Vărșand point, and for cars the Turnu point is recommended. Both border crossings are in Arad County.
