Cioloș, unhappy with the result of the parliamentary elections

“I would also like to send a message to my colleagues, because we also have a responsibility internally, in USR PLUS, in front of our parties. We are in the last phase of the merger, which in a few weeks should normally be finalized in court. And immediately afterwards we will organize a congress, in which the members will decide who will lead the consolidated USR PLUS party. These things were already planned. Once the merger process is finished, it is necessary for that congress to choose the new leadership structure and I think that things fit very well, from this point of view, “said Cioloş, at a press conference.
He acknowledged that the result of the parliamentary elections was not as expected, but added that the voters were not responsible for it.
