Former prime minister and PSD leader Adrian Năstase claims that MEP Rareș Bogdan is becoming the “voice of the people” and will criticize both the NLP government and Klaus Iohannis.

“I heard MEP Rares Bogdan, this morning at Realitatea Plus, angry at the government’s program and promising that from now on, he would speak (from Brussels) only for Romanians.
If I understood correctly, his anger is determined by the appointment of Laurentiu Cazan to lead the Prahova Gendarmerie. He promised to “talk to Lucian” (Lucian Bode – Minister of the Interior) to de-promote Cazan. But I wonder if such an intervention does not fall within the sphere of influence peddling.
Later, the liberal MEP was left on the sidelines by the fact that the Coalition’s government program does not include the elimination of special pensions. By the way, I have great admiration for the ICR judges who gave two clear messages to the parliamentarians 1. You cannot touch the pensions of the magistrates and 2. with the other special pensions (army, interns, intelligence services, diplomats , aviators, MPs) can be played however you want. That really upset Rares Bogdan. I did not follow his statement for about two minutes: it seems that he promised, in protest, to renounce his pension as a Member of the European Parliament, of 4600 euros a month.
From now on, he will be a critical voice in the direction of NLP (and that of Iohannis or not yet?), Speaking only for the people ”, writes Adrian Năstase, in his personal blog.
