Surveillance video captured the moment when a caravan exploded in the American city of Nashville on Christmas Day and the footage was made public by local police, the BBC reports.

Three people were injured in the blast and police believe it was a suicide attack.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has confirmed that DNA traces found at the scene of the blast belong to 63-year-old suspect Anthony Quinn Warner, who was wanted by police in the blast case.

The blast caused damage to communications systems in Tennessee and four other states.

Local police earlier said at a press conference that an audio message from inside the caravan announced that the explosion was about to occur.
