A 74-year-old man from Târgu Jiu was killed Thursday night after a car thrown after impact with another car crushed him when he hit the gate of a house in front of which a pedestrian was passing by.
According to the Gorj Police, the accident took place in Târgu Jiu, after a car driven in lane 2, by a 24-year-old woman from Bucharest, when turning right, collided with a car traveling in lane 1 , by a 19-year-old man from Târgu Jiu, the latter leaving the road.

After the accident, the 19-year-old driver was injured and the car was projected onto parts of a building, including a 74-year-old man from Târgu Jiu.
He was taken to hospital but died of his injuries.

The two drivers were tested with the breathalyzer and the results were negative.
The police have drawn up a criminal case for wrongful death and wrongful bodily injury, writes mediafax.ro.
