Bomb offer between two contenders for the title! CFR is no longer based on Omrani, and Becali is not satisfied with Sergiu Buș’s performance, so the two teams could trade forwards this winter. Although the play is not made, the truth is that the FCSB wants the French forward, for whom it sent an official offer to the club from Gruia. Cluj is willing to give up Omrani, especially since he entered the last six months of his contract.
The fight to win the championship is very close! Three teams fight side by side, FCSB, Craiova and CFR are the clubs whose goal is the title of champions. Cluj has been slowing down lately, replacing Dan Petrescu with Edward Iordănescu, and the 42-year-old wants to seriously reinforce the team this winter. The FCSB wants the same, and the team sponsored by Gigi Becali sent an offer for Frenchman Billel Omrani (27 years old). sources ProSport I affirm that Gruia’s team would be willing to make an exchange with Sergiu Buș (28 years old). Although Buş has disappointed so far at FCSB, the forward has a special relationship with Iordănescu from the time the two collaborated with Gaz Metan and led the team to the playoffs.
If the trade is made, both teams win!
Gone are the days when Omrani was the most courted player in CFR! In the summer of 2019, Celtic made a 3.3 million euro offer for the Frenchman, but Gruia’s club asked for more! The failure of the transfer turned Billel upside down, and he began to play weaker and weaker! In this season of League 1, Omrani played in only one match as a starter and entered four times. He didn’t score a single goal! More recently, he scored the second half of the Europa League match with Young Boys Bern, without making any major contributions.
Omrani is currently worth € 2 million, according to transfermarkt. Bush is trading at 800,000 euros
On the other hand, Sergiu Buș scored just two goals in ten championship matches this season. Constantly criticized by the team owner, Buș would not have considered a defeat for FCSB, but would certainly have considered a victory for Edward Iordănescu’s team. The Cluj manager made the most of Sergiu last season at Gaz Metan, scoring ten goals in 30 championship games. Iordănescu and Buș went with Mediaș in the play-off for the first time in the club’s history and they would not reject a new collaboration. Buș has not played for FCSB since late November, when he scored from the penalty spot at Gaz Metan – FCSB 2-3, in the 90th minute. Another advantage for Buș would be the fact that he was born in Cluj and trained at the CFR. The forward has played in the national railroad team in two ranks: the 2010/2011 and 2012/2013 seasons.
It remains to be seen whether FCSB will be willing to offer Omrani an attractive salary, given that the Frenchman earns 21,000 euros in the CFR. Most likely, he will receive a significant amount in the signing and a lower salary than he now receives in Gruia.
Omrani scored 25 goals in 123 games for the CFR in League 1 over five seasons
