In the last 24 hours, 3,660 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, of the 8,791 tests carried out. Another 127 Romanians died due to the coronavirus infection, while 1,280 COVID patients are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, on December 7, in Romania, 517,236 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
409,121 patients were declared cured.
Following nationwide testing, compared to the last report, 3,660 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were recorded, cases that had not previously had a positive test.
The coefficient of infections accumulated at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants, is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the level of the municipality and the counties of Bucharest. Apart from recently confirmed cases, after retesting patients who were already positive, 746 people were positively reconfirmed.
To date, 12,447 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.
Between 06.12.2020 (10:00) – 07.12.2020 (10:00) 127 deaths were reported (79 men and 48 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Arad, Argeș, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Cluj, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Galați, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Neamț, Oltcea, Prahova, Siula, Siula, Ilfov.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 20 to 29 years, 1 death in the age category 30 to 39 years, 5 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 14 deaths in the age category of age 50 to 59 years, 31 deaths in the age group 60 to 69 years, 42 deaths in the age category 70 to 79 years and 33 deaths in the age group over 80 years.
118 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, for 6 deceased patients no comorbidities were registered and for 3 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported so far.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,762. Of these, 1,280 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 4,264,272 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 8,791 were performed in the last 24 hours, 6,532 based on case definition and medical protocol and 2,259 on request.
In Romania, 45,009 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,075 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 67,627 people are in home quarantine and 126 people are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 2,866 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on December 6 of this year, 4,455 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,079,569 lei.
Likewise, the competent structures of the Police found, yesterday, 9 crimes to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
„We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of health protection regulations can be notified. The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified aspects ”, transmits GCS.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,914 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,936 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,056 in Germany, 167 in the Mar United Kingdom, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of the Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 127 Romanian citizens abroad, 32 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, they have died.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
