In the last 24 hours, 9,739 new cases of COVID-19 were registered, out of 35,575 tests carried out. Another 168 Romanians died after being infected with coronavirus. 1,205 COVID patients are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, on November 25, in Romania, 440,344 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

313,885 patients were declared cured.

Following tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, 9,739 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, cases that had not previously had a positive test.

The capital and 5 other regions have a contagion rate of more than 6 per thousand inhabitants.

To date, 10,541 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 24.11.2020 (10:00) – 25.11.2020 (10:00) 168 deaths were reported (99 men and 69 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Arad, Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Galați, Giurgiu, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureiș, Neamjibhedin, Săvau Suăcea , Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

Of these, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 4 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 17 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 38 deaths in the age category age 60 to 69 years. years, 49 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 57 deaths in the category of more than 80 years.

157 of the deaths registered are of some patients who presented comorbidities, 3 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 8 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.

In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 13,402. Of these, 1,205 are hospitalized in ATI.

To date, 3,974,996 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 35,575 were carried out in the last 24 hours, 22,524 based on case definition and medical protocol and 13,051 on request.

In Romania, 43,867 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home and 12,561 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 68,701 people are in home quarantine and 15 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

In the last 24 hours, 5,223 calls were registered to the single emergency number 112 and 713 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), opened especially to inform the public.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 24 of this year, 6,831 penalties for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,263,365 lei.

Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, yesterday 2 crimes were found to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.

We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.

The calls are answered by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, it was confirmed that 6,875 Romanian citizens were infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,935 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in the Kingdom United, 36 in Hungary, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the US, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 10 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in the United Arab Emirates, 11 in the Republic of Moldova and one in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan , Sweden, Republic of Congo, Qatar, Vatican, Portugal and Egypt.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and so far, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the United States, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of the Congo and one in Greece, they have died.

Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
