Two other patients transferred from the Piatra Neamţ Intensive Care Unit to Iaşi, following the fire in the ATI department, died at the Leţcani Hospital, according to Health Minister Nelu Tătaru.
Two patients died last week and ten people died as a result of the fire in the ATI Section of the Piatra Neamţ County Hospital.
Six wounded were taken to Leţcani Hospital in Iaşi county, of which two are still alive, according to Mediafax.
County authorities were able to temporarily restore the ATI stretch. Now, it has a capacity of 6 seats and can receive patients with severe coronavirus disease.
Health Minister Nelu Tătaru stated: “Those who were transferred are intensive care patients, they did not suffer burns or anything, they were in the other room. At this moment, from the information I had last morning, two of the six are alive and will continue in intensive treatment. “
