Romania’s representative to the WHO, Alexandru Rafila, PSD candidate for parliament, declared on Thursday night, on Antena 3, that he does not know if the government consulted with health specialists before deciding to temporarily close schools and closed markets, but that the bodies they know have not been consulted.

Alexandru Rafila that in the case of a technical group on health issues, the members did not meet for 3 months, so he had nothing to consult, and regarding a technical commission for COVID-19, of which he is also a member “No one has ever asked us about the opportunity to close markets and schools.”

He said that the rulers must say “openly” how they make certain decisions. “You have to manly assume that you made the decision, not to dismiss the specialists, it is not fair,” said Rafila.
