The school nurses sent by the Timișoara city council to help the ambulance doctors left when they found out what they had to do. They thought they would answer the phone. When they arrived at headquarters, they were given the mission of collecting samples for COVID-19.

There is enormous pressure on the health system in Timiș, where the ambulance service had more than 300 collection missions across the county, with only 18 trucks.

Therefore, half of the rescues in the county are involved in coronavirus collection missions.

In this context, the mayor’s office sent a speech to the ambulance service in which he asked to say what problems they are and how they can be helped.

In turn, also through an address, the ambulance said that it needs five cars and five nurses to be trained to collect Covid samples.

The mayor’s office sent five nurses to training, but when they got to the ambulance and found out that they would not be part of the call center, but would go to the harvest, they did not accept and left.

The employees of the City Hall and Ambulance are trying to find the five nurses who come from the medical school, so that they can be trained and help in ambulance missions.
