CTP, acid with Patriarch Daniel: “Ceausescu’s strings sang until the last moment”

This statement was made in the context of the restrictions decided by the authorities on pilgrimages this year, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pilgrimage to St. Dumitru was carried out in compliance with strict health and social distancing measures, being open only to those who live in Bucharest. Similar restrictions were decided in Iasi, on the occasion of the Feast of the Pía Parascheva, at which time the Patriarch described the measures as discriminatory and disproportionate, accusing the fact that the Romanian Orthodox Church was not consulted.

In an editorial published on the republica.ro website under the title “Satan in cassock”, CTP writes about the Romanian Orthodox leader who is “lower” than the priests of Thebes and accuses the BOR leaders of “singing them in the ropes to Ceausescu ”.
