“Special for my soul and, therefore, it was born very fast. The text of the song Heaven was written in a quarter of an hour! So in about 15 minutes.
I thought of my mother, whom I had just lost at the time, and I wanted to sing and write like that, “Bodo told TVR in an interview.
Returning to the present, Bodo will perform a duet with Dora Gaitanovici on the special edition Golden Stag # Generations, broadcast on TVR 1 on Sunday, September 13.
“The Golden Deer is a place where we live a dream, where the dream came true and we enjoyed the trophy won as children.
For us, the Golden Stag, at that time, meant a statement, a step that we climbed, then we would see what we do next …
We have some music in our heads and we want to give it to our friends and to the world. Lots of good music. And we focus a lot on songwriting and song promotion, not Trophy promotion.
History always puts you in the place you deserve, after a while ”, said Bodo before taking part in the show, which remembers that during this period the Golden Deer Festival is approaching.
“The Golden Deer is a place where we live a dream, where the dream came true and we enjoyed the trophy won as children.
But we as a band at that time did not make the most of this trophy won. It is true that the producer did not help us either, but I don’t want to blame anyone.
The contest was very, very tough, because there were so many competitors. In that year it was divided into sections: rock, pop-rock, dance, folklore.
In the section in which we participated, pop-rock, there were many competitors and I remember that I was a little afraid of the Lithuanian competitor. But when I listened to him in rehearsals in the Council Square, I calmed down, I knew I could beat him ”, said the singer.
Bodo: 
Dragoș, his bandmate, entered the song at the two legendary events of Romanian music: the Mamaia Festival, but also at the Cerbul of Aur.
“This, to show both us and the public that the song Heaven is not a dead child, as the people in our production house had predicted at the time.
That’s what they said then: “Heaven is a beautiful song, but in an era of the BUG mafia, they say that pop-rock is us, a song in which the lyrics sound like this: I would pick up a star “. / To have you, we don’t think it will be very successful and we don’t really believe in it.

“In the 2000s, the Golden Stag was the place where the great musical values of the world met. You could meet great people and we made a lot of friends.
I have a great memory of the Golden Stag, with the warm hands of the Boyz II Men, who came to congratulate us on the Trophy.
