Restaurants and cafes in 15 towns in Arad County have been closed since Wednesday for seven days after Covid-19 cases spiked.

The decision to close the restaurants and cafes was made by the Arad County Committee for Emergency Situations.

„Considering the cumulative incidence of cases in the last 14 days in the towns of the Arad region where the threshold of 1.5 / 1,000 inhabitants was exceeded, it is ordered to suspend the activity with the public, for a period of 7 days (at from 09.09.2020 to 15.09.2020 at 24.00), of all economic operators that carry out activities of preparation, marketing and consumption of food and / or alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, such as restaurants and cafes, within the buildings, in the following locations: Ineu, Sebiş, Almaş, Archiş, Bârsa, Buteni, Cărand, Conop, Dezna, Gurahonţ, Pleşcuţa, Seleuş, Şofronea, Tauţ and Vârfurile ”, is shown in the decision of CJSU Arad.
