The Minister of Education, Monica Anisie, explained Tuesday night in Digi24 that if a school adopts the hybrid system – classical education in combination with online school – the children who stay at home will see live, on platforms, the hours that they pass with their companions. the teacher in the class.
When asked if the teacher teaching the class will have to resume all classes online, Minister Monica Anisie specified that the teacher will not work twice as hard. “The transmission is made from the school. Then, in the classroom, the teacher enters, enters the platform, the students who are at home connect and see what is happening in the classroom live. So, the teacher conducts his class normally, with the students in the class, and they follow the respective lesson and those at home, ”said Monica Anisie. “Most of the time, students can do the same (by connecting to the platform of the teacher they are waiting in class – no)” to save time, added the Minister of Education.
Regarding the recovery of the subject lost last year, each teacher must carry out an evaluation in class, and the Ministry of Education will provide them with methodological guidelines that help them recover the learning gaps. The minister added that from the discussions he had with the teachers, they told him that 90 percent of the subject that they still had to teach they managed to transfer during the suspension of classes. “Now, they have to assess how much students have learned or retained. We need to do an honest analysis and my fellow teachers apply what we have presented in these methodological guidelines. We even made plans or planning suggestions, in order to give them the opportunity to orient themselves. for teaching the subject in the next school year ”, commented Monica Anisie.
Monica Anisie was also asked if she is considering hiring additional teachers, as Italy did, for example, which brought in retired teachers, but the Minister of Education blamed Parliament and certain legislative changes that prevent it from doing so. .
Monica Anisie also announced to Digi24 that the Ministry of Education will provide students and parents with a TELVERDE line to receive answers to all questions they have about the start of classes.
There is already another TELVERDE line for school directors and local authorities who want to know how to access European funds to purchase school supplies.
