PSD deputy Dan Ciocan was expelled from the party, at a PSD Caracal meeting, for being absent from the motion of no confidence against the Orban government.
The permanent office of PSD Caracal resolved, on Monday, in a statutory session, with unanimous votes from those present, the exclusion of Dan Ciocan, a member of the organization, from the party.
According to the Social Democrats, the reasons for the exclusion are the absence of the motion of censure against the Orban government and the repeated attempts to convince, at the headquarters of the PSD Caracal, using their capacity as deputies, notorious members of the PSD to run for the Caracal Town Hall, of the Pro Romania band.
In addition, it was noted that it has not resonated with the principles of PSD Olt for a long time, an organization that offered everything, from the political point of view: two terms of deputy and the position of president of the Caracal Municipal Organization, one of the most organizations important in the county. Our organization has always been bounded by deceptive attitudes, hypocrisy, and lack of character. In difficult situations, more than ever, all PSD parliamentarians should have shown solidarity and unity in the fight against a NLP government, which isolated us at all levels: both socially and economically. Worse still, their lack of support manifests itself in an extremely difficult social context, ignoring an approach that aims to send home an incompetent government, which has led the country into the biggest economic recession in 26 years. years “, transmits PSD, according to Mediafax.
The motion of censure could not be debated and voted on Monday due to lack of a quorum, with only 226 senators and deputies present, announced the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Marcel Ciolacu.
For the government to be overthrown, it was necessary for at least 233 parliamentarians to vote in favor of the motion of no confidence.
