Police are trying to maintain order on crowded beaches where not only tourists break the rules, but also merchants.
It’s just that no matter how many fines they give, they return to the beach without a mask, but with baskets full of the so-called “goodies” not exactly hygienic.
A new large-scale operation: cleaning among street vendors, who ignore hygiene rules on the beach.
Sellers are not licensed or skins. I tempt tourists with corn, fruit, and pastries.
Police to the merchant: “The police car will drive you. I will ask you nicely, mask at all times.”
Merchant: “What should we do, hit people on the head, rob them from jail? Do you leave them in the sun? So where do I keep them? Wear my hat to keep me in the shade? Donuts with what? Chocolate , raspberries, berries we have, we have hot corn! Does it work? If it didn’t work, we wouldn’t be on the beach anymore! Do you pay the fine? How can I not pay?
The culprits return, however, unrestricted on the arena.
Andreea Iliescu, spokesperson for LEI Constanta: “Since the beginning of this month and so far only in this area, more than 300 sanctions have been applied.”
The fines range from 1,000 to 2,500 lei. Paid fast, in 15 days, they are cut in half.
