A Bucharest man was detained on Saturday after he threatened a person and his family on Facebook with a clip in which he presented a sword and a pistol.
According to the Capital Police, “on 08/27/2020, at Police Station 19, a person appeared who denounced that that same day, around 10:00 a.m., a video was published on a social network, in which a man threatened her and his family, and a sword and pistol are shown during filming. After the searches carried out on Saturday at the man’s home, several sharp objects and a compressed air pistol were “identified and seized” (not subject to authorization). The man was transferred to the police station, where after interrogations the arrest measure was ordered. The investigations are continued by Police Station 19 under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Court of District 5, under the aspect of the commission of the crime of threat ”.

The man was taken to the police station, where, after questioning, he was detained.

According to the Penal Code, the crime of threats is punishable by imprisonment from three months to one year or a fine.
