Horia Stancu was part of one of the Brasov youth groups.

In the last message posted on the Facebook page, Horia Stancu wrote that he went and verified the status of the works on DN11, in Brașov.

Horia Stancu was appointed to head the Brașov Regional Roads and Bridges Directorate in 2018. As an engineer by profession, Stancu was president of the Braşov County Social Democratic Youth Organization.

Before being appointed to DRDP Brașov, Horia Stancu worked at the State Highway Transportation Control Inspectorate – ISCTR.

He was married and had a son.
