Former CCR judge Toni Greblă gives the Romanians good news. Over the weekend, we could have a legislative vacuum as the alert law could only be passed on Monday. Former CCR judge Toni Greblă says that the possibilities for police forces to intervene if protective measures are not observed are limited.
Next weekend, the authorities only have to trust the seriousness of the Romanians that they will maintain the measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. This is because there is a good chance the weekend is unrestricted, as the Alertness Act may not go into effect, according to Mediafax.

“Unfortunately, we will have a legislative vacuum this weekend. Of course, the chances of forcible intervention, of coercion, are very limited,” former CCR judge Toni Greblă told MEDIAFAX.
Under these conditions, heads of government expect people to show responsibility.
“We called attention two weeks ago, before entering this situation, due to the fact that the Government has not decided at the last moment what type of measures to take. And depending on the measure, it had to see what state would be established,” Toni Greblă also said.
The state of emergency ends on May 15, and the Alertness Law could take effect only on Monday. The laws come into effect only after 3 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The three-day period is calculated in calendar days, beginning with the publication date and expiring at 24:00 on the third day.
