Seventy-four people arrived, on Sunday night, at the CFR Timişoara Nord station, to board the first train sent from Austria, to take the workers to this country. The train left Vienna on Saturday night and arrived in Timisoara on Sunday. At CFR Timişoara Nord station, security measures were taken to keep workers away from the rules.
The 74 workers from 18 counties in Romania who will leave for Vienna on Sunday night already have employment contracts in this country. Most of them have worked in Austria before, and now they do shift shifts.
After arriving in Vienna, workers will be screened for coronaviruses and then take their jobs, especially caring for the elderly.
The Vienna special train leaves Timişoara around 21:00.

According to CFR Călători, two pairs of trains were prepared on the Vienna-Timisoara routes (on May 9 and 12) and Timisoara-Vienna (on May 10 and 13). “The transport will take place as long as the Austrian side collects sufficient reserves for the occupation of the wagons,” CFR Călători transmitted.
According to the cited source, all trains will consist only of docking cars, each set will have 5 Romanian docking cars and 5 Austrian docking cars. The total number of seats on a train is approximately 350.
The circulation of special trains will be carried out in accordance with the conditions approved by the Romanian Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications and the Romanian Ministry of the Interior.

CFR Călători states that OBB and the Austrian authorities are in charge of reserving seats for specially ordered trains. Austrian recruitment agencies are also responsible for selecting and moving passengers on these trains.
The transport of passengers is carried out in accordance with the current provisions on the rules of social distance, respectively, the rules of hygiene and behavior issued by the authorities for the protection of people and the prevention of infection by Covid-19.
When leaving Timişoara, only people declared admitted by DSP have access to these trains specially ordered by OBB.
All travelers are required to wear a protective mask while traveling and the use of disposable gloves is recommended.
For passenger embarkation / disembarkation operations, specially arranged colors will be provided for access, respectively, the organized departure of the railway station facilities.
