Today April 22 is a great day for Motorola, a company that after a few years is ready to bring us a new flagship in the market, one that, as we noted due to progress, will meet expectations. Moto’s latest flagship was the Z2 Force model and arrived in the summer of 2017 with an on-board Snapdragon 835 processor, P-OLED display, and dual rear camera with 4K filming support. Now is the time for something new and it’s called Motorola Edge +.
Its launch will take place tonight and You can see the event live from 19:00, Romanian time. The broadcast will be posted on Motorola’s official website, which can be accessed here and, due to the current situation, will be an event without an audience, but we expect interesting surprises. We know from leaks that the Motorola Edge + will bring a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED curved display with 90Hz refresh rate and processor Snapdragon 865.
It will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of flash storage, a cut-out selfie camera, and a 5170mAh battery with a fast power supply. We’re also expecting the phone to offer 5G, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, and a triple camera on the back with a 108 mpx main sensor (OIS) and a 3x optical zoom on the telephoto camera.
In addition, the Motorola Edge model with Snapdragon 765G processor, the same AMOLED screen and 5G support will be launched. It will have a triple photo setup on the back with a 64 mpx main sensor, 4500 mAh battery, and 6 GB of RAM. We’ll find out the full details tonight and it seems Motorola Edge + costs $ 999.
