The Ring of Honor builds to keep their champions active. New contenders for Dragon Lee’s ROH TV Championship and Jonathan Gresham’s ROH Pure Championship have been announced.
The first on the docket is pure gold. Gresham and ROH dojo coach Will Ferrara wanted to reward their students with a chance to earn a title shot. They proposed to the ROH board of directors that Joe Keys, Dante Caballero, Ken Dixon and Eric Martin take part in the Gauntlet match with the winner gaining the # 3 rank and achieving a pure championship race against Gresham.
He was attacked RHH week by week (Starting at 16:25). In the opening round, Dixon defeated Martin by a Powerslam. Caballero eliminated Dixon on a crucifix pin change in the second round. Dixon showed poor play by attacking Caballero after his loss. Caballero rolled back despite the pain, but came on top with an elevated single leg crab to win the Keys Gauntlet. Keys will have his chance against Gresham in next week’s TV episode Roh Wrestling.
Dragon Lee Ray is refreshed by a successful TV title defense against Horus, and Brian Johnson is ready to sign a new contract with ROH. Now, the two will go together on the date the announcement will be made. Johnson got a chance by winning the fan poll as part of the Roh The Experience.
