‘Rodham’: Sarah Treem adapting Hillary Clinton’s fictional novel as a Hulu series

The streamer is partnering with The case co-creator Sarah Treem will adapt Curtis Sittenfeld’s best-selling novel Rodham like a scripted drama series. The potential series is currently in the development stage on Hulu, backed by Disney, which means it would still need a formal order for the series before moving beyond the script stage.

The transmitter also teamed up with Clinton to Hillary, a four-part docuseries featuring interviews with the former presidential candidate and dozens of her friends, colleagues, journalists, and family. That series was launched in March with great enthusiasm after its debut in January at the Sundance Film Festival.

Treem will write the script and executive producer Rodham, which is being produced by Fox 21 Television Studios. Rodham It is the first project to emerge from Treem’s general agreement in November with Disney’s cable and broadcast studio. Warren Littlefield will be an executive producer through his Fox 21-based Littlefield Co. Sittenfeld will also be credited as an executive producer alongside Littlefield and Treem.
