This column is a quick article to give you the stats you need to make informed PGA DFS picks for your DraftKings + FanDuel daily fantasy lineups and give you a couple of recommendations for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. In a typical showdown contest, DraftKings will offer more than 50K to the first for showdown of rounds 2 and 3, and sometimes up to 100K for contests of the final round. They also offer weekend contests that have been offering 25K at first for most weekends. Finally, FanDuel has also tried to participate in the final and weekend round contests, offering 10K and 5K for the first round.

Previous round comment

Thursday morning provided all the entertainment one could have asked for while watching golf, with Bryson ripping discs far beyond his other competitors. I mean, just psychological that it must be somewhat debilitating. But, these guys are professionals and they should be able to block all your noise. However, it still hasn’t looked really good, and as such has lost a course over the weekend to two recent winners, Chris Kirk and Webb Simpson. Webb’s wedge set is so good and so reliable that all you need to do is catch a slightly warm putter.

Ty hatton it does 3/3 in terms of higher priced golfers who made the cut, while Patrick Reed fell victim to the cut this week. There are still many other great names, and as long as you’ve made the cut.

The expected time:

Almost the same weather on Saturday, as golfers have their third consecutive day of perfect conditions and without any weather advantage.

Review of statistics from the previous round

Through 36 holes, Seamus Power and Troy Merritt They are the only two golfers who don’t have ghosts up to 36, who have complete control of their game during the first two rounds. The little birds were flying back here at Detriot Golf Club when Matthew Wolff set the pace early with nine of them.

BOB Leaders Round 2

  1. Matthew Wolff (9)
  2. Chris Kirk, Webb Simpson and Ryan Armor * who added a hole in 1 (8)
  3. Ten golfers had seven birdies today, including Cameron Champ, Scottie Scheffler and Harold Varner III.

Strokes Won Ball Slamming vs. Putting

Lucas Glover’s The greens struggles have returned, at least for the second round, missing 2 1/4 shots on the day. However, his ball shot stayed well in the second round and he now has a four-shot differential between the two statistics. Harry Higgs, Hudson Swafford and KH Lee they are three of the other four names classified among the top five in this category. What is scary is who the fourth golfer is, Webb Simpson. It still has to get hot with the putter really; in fact, he lost a quarter hit on the green today. A terrifying sight for the rest of the field for sure.

Maverick McNealy He leads the other side of this stat, illuminating it in the greens for the first two days, getting almost five hits in total. If he could get his irons to cooperate, he could go jogging this weekend. Brendon Todd and Sungjae Im There are two other candidates here too.

PGA DFS Whiteboard Preview:

DraftKings is offering $ 50,000 to the first contest with $ 200,000K Gtd. Lots of other deals, including the long running $ 100 single entry contests offering 5K to 1st and 30K Gtd. A reasonably solid offer for this tournament. They’re also offering a 25K contest the first weekend and a full list of other deals there.

FanDuel It intensifies their game a little, since they are offering 10K to the first for their weekend product. They are not yet offering showdown contests.

Breakdown and selection of the top 10

One two on the salary charts is 1.2 on the leaderboard too, well 1, 3 if you count Chris Kirk. They’ve both done it the opposite way, but Simpson is also hitting shots off the tee, in a totally different way than Bryson’s. Matthew Wolff, for at least one round, put it all together and show you what happens when you shoot in all cylinders for this kid. I am excited to see him in contention again. A couple of other players who will enter this week in good shape also enter the weekend in the top 10, including Ryan Armor, Richy Werenski, Mark Hubbard and the already mentioned Kirk,

If there’s any indication of how tomorrow’s board is going to go, Bryson got 63% in the $ 100 one-time contest and 54% in the $ 10 main contest. Obviously, there’s leverage in fading it out, but it’s been So consistent bringing in over 50 points, it’s really hard to fade it. Especially since the salary is much cheaper than its price for a week. I won’t be able to fade away:

Matthew Wolff ($ 7,400)

I know the property is likely to be high tomorrow, but there are still plenty of options below to make a single lineup while Bryson / Webb and Wolff stack up. It has all the parts of its game working, something we highlighted on Wednesday night, that all parts of the game had clicked on a point in the last three weeks. Let’s see if he has what it takes to win consecutive years the weekend of July 4.

Stud or Value Pick outside the Top 10

Sam Burns ($ 7,200)

Burns was a great play for me in the weeklong contests, and if I’m going to do anything about my comeback, it will be for him. He found his irons in the second round, winning more than three shots on the day, but his putter disappointed him a little, losing 2.21 on the day. He won almost two the first day, so we know he is close. They just didn’t fall today. Tomorrow they will.

Sneaky pick out of the Top 10

Kristoffer Ventura ($ 6,500)

The twenty-five-year-old Mexican has played quietly decently in his limited beginnings. I highlighted him in the article on earned strokes as a guy who can really light it up with the putter, winning at least one stroke in 4/9 starts. He’s got a shot at that again this weekend, and his irons seem to be heating up a perfect match. He’s already a longer ball driver, so these four par-5s should come in handy this weekend.

PGA DFS Alignment Plugins:

Harry Higgs ($ 7,500)

Scott Harrington ($ 6,300)

Hudson Swafford ($ 7,100)

Doc Redman ($ 9,100)
