Mazion never lost
Nicknamed “Black Magic,” Mazion was 17-0 with 13 knockouts, nine of which came in the first round.
His most recent victory was a knockout against Fernando Castaneda with a 58-second body shot in the first round on January 11 to secure the WBC-NABF super welterweight title.
Mazion made his walk without using music as a tribute to the victims of armed violence.
He would have turned 25 on July 24.
