Seth Rollins defeated Rey Mysterio at the Eye for an Eye Match at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules on Sunday and, in the process, caused Mysterio to lose his previously injured right eye. Throughout the match, the two used pliers, kendo sticks, tables, steel chairs, a pen, various tools from inside a toolbox, the corner of the comment table, and a rope to try to scratch each other . Finally, the two ended up at ringside where Mysterio, after showing his wounded eye by removing the protector from his mask, tried to blind Rollins by driving his face to the corner of the post.
However, Rollins nailed Mysterio with a low blow, then directed his eye towards the corner. The referee rang the bell when Mysterio covered his eye as Rollins recoiled in horror. The former WWE champion was helped on the back, while Rollins vomited at ringside.

The dispute between the two former world champions dates back to May when Rollins snapped during a tag match and brought Mysterio’s right eye to the corner of the steel ring steps. After weeks of fights, promotions, and matches involving Murphy, Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, and Dominik Mysterio, Mysterio had a chance to choose the stipulation for his long-awaited match. Because of what Rollins had done to his eye, Mysterio chose the horrible stipulation.
