James Harden may not be in court for the Houston Rockets’ season opener on Wednesday due to a video featuring an all-star at a recent strip club.

From ESPN Tim McMahon, Rockets and NBA League office fees have been working together to review the video circulating on social media in recent weeks.

If the latest video circulating on social media is verified, it is a violation of the league’s COVID protocol, which would jeopardize Harden’s availability for tonight’s opener, “McMahon wrote.

The video was posted Tuesday, according to Ben Dubois of Rockets Wire.

In early December, video footage showing Harden without wearing a mask in nightclubs in Las Vegas and Atlanta circulated around the Internet.

From ESPN Adrian Wozniacki, Harden reported to the Rockets training camp on December 8 and tested “COVID-19” according to NBA protocol.

Under NBA rules For the 2020-21 season, players were found to be violating the league’s COVID-19 protocol. “Involvement in such activities and / or conduct may result in the player being in quarantine and subject to a proportional adjustment to pay for any games missed during the test period. “

The Rocket will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at the teams ’season opener on Wednesday.
