Remember when the Porsche 911 Turbo was sold with a six-speed manual?




While the new 992 generation Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S models are capable of hypercar acceleration levels, we suspect you could have so much fun driving this 2002 996 911 Turbo, complete with a six-speed manual transmission.

Porsche stopped offering the 911 Turbo with a six-speed manual after the 997 generation, and while that has helped establish the Turbo as an absolute straight-line weapon, a PDK transmission simply can’t bring you the same level of feel as A change of lever. This particular 911 Turbo may be almost two decades old, but it’s still very fast and could be a bargain.

the Bring a trailer The list reveals that the car was originally sold in Illinois and that it previously resided in Texas, Wisconsin, and Minnesota before the current owner registered it in Iowa and then California. Sold with a Carfax report, factory documentation, and a clean California title.

The body is painted in Polar Silver Metallic which is nicely complemented by an 18-inch aftermarket wheelset wrapped in Sumitomo HTR Z2 tires measuring 225/40 at the front and 295/30 at the rear. The brake is provided by four-piston calipers with vented discs and drilled at all four corners.

Power comes from a 415 hp, 415 hp, 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) twin-turbo six-cylinder engine. The car currently has 55,000 miles (88,513 km) on the clock. At time of writing, and with three days remaining until the auction ended, the highest bid was $ 30,000.
