Seriously.
During his apology, Brenneman acknowledged that he would probably be fired for the incident – and said, “I do not know if I will put this headset back on.”
Cincinnati Reds announced Thom Brennaman issued an offensive, homophobic slur while calling the Reds game on Wednesday … apparently not realizing that his microphone was on.

Seconds later, he snaps back into broadcaster mode and reads a promo for the Reds Live Pregame Show … as if nothing had happened.
But, viewers were SHOCKED … and the clip went viral on social media in a matter of minutes.
The 56-year-old Brennaman has been calling MLB games since the 1990s and was the featured play-by-play broadcaster for major events such as the BCS National Championship Game, the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, the 2008 Sugar Bowl. even the 2011 Pro Bowl.
He has been with the Reds since 2006.
