Record 1,094 new Idaho Seaweed-19 cases, 6 new deaths


Idaho FALS, Idaho (KIPI / KIDK) – Idaho officials reported 1,094 new Covid-19 cases and 6 new deaths on Friday.

That brings the total confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 51,704.

In Idaho, 44 ​​of the 44 counties in Idaho have a total of 8,086 confirmed cases and 6,118 potential cases, according to figures released by local health districts and the state. See chart below.

The SIP Covid-19 risk level monitor has four categories: minimal, medium, high and complex. Vanida County is in the minimum risk category. Bangkok, Bear Lake, Bingham and Caribou counties are in the middle risk category. Butt, Franklin and Power County are in the high risk category.

Eastern Idaho Public Health reported 209 new cases on Friday. There are 68 new cases in Bonneville, 1 in Custer, 20 in Frame 20, 15 in Jefferson, 9 in Lemmy, 93 in Madison and 3 in Teton. There are a total of 715 active cases. You can see more here.

The EIPH COVID-19 risk level monitor has four categories: minimum, medium, high and complex. Madison is in the high risk category. Bonneville, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lamy and Teton counties are in the middle risk category.

Clark County is the only county in the minimal risk category.

EIPH covers Bonneville, Clark. Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lamy, Madison and Teton counties.

The spots so far this week include Ada County, Madison County, Bonneville County, Twin Falls County and Canyon County.

The state reports that there are an estimated 25,457 recoverable COVID-19 cases.

Idahons with COVID-19 have an average age of 38.90 years and range from 1 to 100 years. The data excludes 38 individuals of unknown age.

The age group with the highest number of cases is 18-29 with 14,856 cases.

The state said 37 new hospital admissions have been reported bringing the total number to 7,174 to, and a new case has been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 49,495.

Healthcare workers have 3,752સિ asymptomatic report cases and 34,3499 cases.

Total deaths: 6 new deaths have been reported.

State officials say deaths by age group are falling apart as follows.

  • 1 person has died between the ages of 18 and 29
  • Between the ages of 30 and 39, 2 people died
  • Eleven people between the ages of 40 and 49 died
  • The 19 people who died ranged in age from 50 to 59
  • 69 people ranged in age from 60 to 69 years
  • 135 people ranged in age from 70 to 79 years
  • 286 people were 80+

95.20% of deaths with the known race were white. 0.58% of deaths with the known race were Asian. 0.77% of deaths with the known race were black or African American, 1.73% American Indian / Alaska Native, and 1.73% “other race / multiple races.” Race category for 2 deaths left.

87.74% of deaths with the known race were non-Hispanic. 12.26% of deaths with known ethnicity were Hispanic. 1 Ethnicity pending death.
