Reboot of the animated series ‘Clone High’ by Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Bill Lawrence in the works at MTV Studios – Deadline


MTV Studios is reviving another animated MTV cult series, Clone High. Original series creators Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Bill Lawrence are rejoining in a reinvented version of the 2002 television series.

Lord, Miller and Lawrence join in the Clone High reboot of Erica Rivinoja, who was a writer for the original series, widely regarded as a time capsule of the early 2000s with her love satire and ironic parody of emo culture. Rivinoja will serve as showrunner and will co-write the pilot alongside Lord and Miller.

Like the original, the new Clone High It will follow prominent historical figures who have been cloned and placed in high school, including Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, John F. Kennedy, and more as they face the trials and tribulations of normal teenage life.

Lord and Miller began their careers with writing, directing, and executive production.
