Rebeca Tavares makes her point after Fabinho scores for Liverpool

Liverpool produced a much improved performance against Crystal Palace for 16 wins from 16 home games in the Premier League this season, with some spectacular goals paving the way to three points.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free kick came to the top corner 1-0, before Mohamed Salah made it 2-0 with a fantastic assist from Fabinho.

And then Fabinho himself came to the scoreboard with a long-range effort that shot past Vicente Guaita.

Sadio Mane completed things with a great goal after a good connection from Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Fabinho’s wife, Rebeca Tavares, responded quickly on social media.

He tweeted a simple message to his fans as his other half responded to criticism directed at Fabinho during the 0-0 draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.

It was the second incredible long-range strike that the Brazilian midfielder has marked this season.

He also scored a similar strike against Manchester City in the first half of the campaign.

Liverpool are now 23 points clear at the top of the Premier League table and will confirm their crown tomorrow night in the event that Manchester City cannot win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
