My brother Khabib, I pray for you and your family. Your father leaves such a tremendous legacy. Every time I was near him, I could see how proud he was of you. You showed him some amazing things, my brother. He trained you to be a fighter and you got there. I love you brother. Hug your mother, hug your wife and children and know that you have a lot of support around the world during this difficult time. Everyone else, slide to the right. This video shows who Abdulmanap was, as he fought one of my youth fighters before UFC 187. He would fight anyone, big or small. It is a memory that I will never forget. Rest in peace, Abdulmanap. One day we will see each other again. @Khabib_nurmagomedov @mosesmirabal 📸@official.noah.bean

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov was impacted by the COVID-19 couple with ongoing cardiac surgeries. His departure leaves an impact on the MMA community, as a large number of fighters have offered their condolences.

Khabib Nurmagomedov: Where do you go from here?

The tragic news will certainly leave the fighter undefeated to reevaluate his options in the future. Abdulmanap was the driving force for both his son and several teammates in the camp. He also successfully persuaded his son to continue fighting when conversations about ‘The Eagle’ walking away emerged.

The 28-0 MMA fighter could be seen training regularly as news of the illness emerged. Suffice it to say that all training will stop, as some team fighters have withdrawn from the fights. Justin Gaethje was expected to face the champion in a possible comeback in September.

The lightweight division’s shark tank has continued to provide stiff competition for the champion. In light of recent events, the undisputed king needs time to cry.
