Preview

The Dodgers and Rays were the best teams in the baseball season. Los Angeles finished with the best record in the National League (43-17) and run differential (+136), while Tampa Bay broke the American League’s best record of 40-22 and ended in a tie with the Chicago White Sox. Best run differential (+60). Both clubs also boast of deep and talented pitching staff.

As far as the opener of the pitching matchup series is concerned, it will be the 27-year-old right-hander Haynder Taylor Glass against experienced Southhand Clayton Kershav. Dersen’s NLCS allowed four runs in the game and the Braves will be outscored by Kershaw on a full, four-day break due to four defeats.

Kershaw, 32, made his World Series debut in 2017 and 2018. But the Dodgers have lost each of their past three World Series. His only win came in Game 1 of the 2017 World Series against the Astros, when he threw seven, one run (one solo home run) innings and struck out 11 batsmen. His 2020 playoff figures include a 3.32 Iran in three starts (19 innings) with 23 strikeouts and two walks.

Glasno will get the ball in Game 1 after starting this postseason four. With 19 1/3 innings in the 2020 playoffs, Glasgow owns an era of 4.66 with 25 strikeouts and eight walks. The glass is mainly based on a large fastball ball that averages 98 miles and turns.

Forecast

The Dodgers get a spectacular outing from Clayton Kershav and smash the Rays bullpen to concede their first win of the 2020 World Series. Let’s just say Mocky Bates has another big defensive game and Jock Pederson hits Clutch Homer. 5-3, Dodgers.
