Ranking of all games in the series.

Uncharted games are some of the most successful and entertaining games of all time. They were responsible for delivering an unprecedented level of cinematic play that had never been seen before.

Nathan Drake has become one of the most iconic characters in all games. Uncharted is one of the leading Naughty Dog titles and established the studio as one of the most talented in the gaming industry.

All of the games in the Uncharted series have been quality Triple-A titles that have made a mark in the industry and have set the standard for action adventure games.

Here we look at the series and rank all the titles in the Uncharted series. All of the mainline entries have been included in this list except Uncharted: The Golden Abyss, which was a portable title for PS Vita.

Uncharted: Ranking of all games in the series

5) Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune

The first game in the series saw Naughty Dog walk away from the days of Jak and Daxter, as well as Crash Bandicoot in the modern Triple-A arena. The series introduced the gaming community to lovable protagonist Nathan Drake, voiced by iconic Nolan North.

The game offered a wealth of cinematic play and served as a good introduction to the characters and the world of Uncharted. Some players feel that the game hasn’t aged as well, but they still consider it a decent title that provided the foundation for the rest of the Naughty Dog series.

4) Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception

The third game in the franchise sought to take things to the next level in every aspect of the game. The combat areas were larger, the story took place in more places, and the scale of combat continued to increase throughout the game. He even had a chase like Indiana Jones through the desert on horseback.

Uncharted 3 explored Nathan Drake’s destructive obsession with treasures and even delved into his past and how he joined Sully.

Uncharted 3 was technically more impressive than the previous two games, but some players felt that the story lacked synergy from the previous game.

3) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

This Uncharted title served as a spin-off from the main franchise. For the first time, players were given control of someone other than the Drake brothers, and this time, the game’s protagonists were Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross.

The game uses the same engine and technology as Uncharted 4, which means it’s just as technically impressive as the title of the fourth issue. Originally, the game was intended to be a DLC for the fourth game, but it worked very well as a standalone title.

The game opens up more possibilities with the Uncharted franchise, as it leaves enough room for the series to explore new characters and stories other than Nathan Drake.

2) Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Ranking the two best games on the list was an extremely difficult task as both titles are some of the best games one can play today. Uncharted 2 not only announced Naughty Dog’s arrival on the big stage as a premier studio, it also revolutionized gaming in general.

It set a whole new benchmark in terms of cinematic gaming, and few games have been able to meet the standard set by Uncharted 2.

The train opening sequence is perhaps the best introduction to a game, and the rest of the story manages to reach several important points throughout its considerable playing time.

Unchartered 2 will go down in game history as the turning point for Naughty Dog, as well as the game that paved the way for many similar games to succeed.

1) Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

The final chapter of the Uncharted franchise could not have been better. After Amy Hennig, the series’ lead writer, quit the project citing personal reasons and joined Visceral Games, fans had doubts about the quality of the game.

Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, who co-directed The Last of Us, went on to direct the final chapter of the Nathan Drake story. The players ‘concerns seemed to increase further as they felt that Uncharted could lose most of their “fun” due to the directors’ work on The Last of Us.

All doubts were quickly discouraged for a few hours in the game when players realized that Uncharted 4 was an instant classic. The game is a technical powerhouse and possibly one of the most attractive games in history.

His technical brilliance is only overshadowed by the story of the game, which could be the strongest in the series. The gameplay also saw major improvements and players couldn’t have asked for a better ending to such a large franchise.
