With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Opening the door to a number of popular third-party franchise characters, it wouldn’t be completely out of place to see the ultra-popular Fortnite be represented in some way later in the line. For many, when you think of games like Fortnite, you think less of their in-game characters and more of the real-life people who have helped make it the big hit it is.
So what are the chances that Ninja, the world’s most famous streamer best known for his Fortnite coverage, may one day end up in the game? It is unlikely, of course, in fact, We would happily bet our entire Smash amiibo collection that such collaboration will never happen – but a modder has taken the time to show us what that particular mashup could be like.
Below, you’ll see Snake’s character model replaced by the Fortnite skin in the Ninja game, with all of Snake’s moves and attacks still intact. His voice has been replaced by clips from Ninja broadcasts, including a shout of “What am I doing?” for his Final Smash. As a warning, the clip features mature language.
If you prefer to avoid that language, we have also taken some screenshots for you.
What you think? Could you see a Fortnite rep working on Smash? Can you imagine the utter chaos such a revelation would cause among the most vocal members of the Nintendo community? Give us your opinion below.
