PS5 preorders more recently as Amazon page kicks in without PlayStation 5 pricing | Game | Entertainment

Fans are hoping to find out more about the PS5 pricing this week, after news that an Amazon bookmark page has been released. The new Amazon section of PlayStation 5 doesn’t contain anything new about how much the console will cost, but it comes with a lot of other background information. A lot of news has been shared about the new games that will come with the launch, but gamers are still waiting to find out the price of Sony’s new console.

The good news is that it could be changing this week, with the new Amazon Pre Order page live.

An earlier leak suggested that PlayStation was working on a big PS5 reveal for this week.

Some of that news was shared by Roberto Serrano, a leaker who previously correctly revealed the rescheduled date of the PS5 event before Sony announced it.

It was believed that Sony would not hold an event to announce this news, but would instead reveal the main PS5 announcement in a PlayStation blog post.

While this has yet to emerge, there is a possibility that something like this is happening in the next few days or before the end of July.

A new game state is believed to air in August, detailing more about the first and third-party games heading to the PS5.

One of the titles rumored to be on display is a reboot of Silent Hill, which is supposed to be exclusive to the PS5.

While we may also get a Square Enix Final Fantasy announcement, possibly a FF16 reveal or first look at Part 2 of FF7 Remake.

It has taken Sony a long time to announce its full plans for the PS5, with the console design recently confirmed.

A message from Eric Lempel, Head of Global Marketing and Consumer Experience for PlayStation, explained the situation and added:

“After we came out of PlayStation 4, with all the success we’ve seen and the passion of fans for the brand, we really wanted to make sure we had good results with PlayStation 5.

“As we have said many times, PS5 is truly a next generation console. It is a leap forward. And we wanted to wait for the right moment when everything was aligned.

“And I think, and I hope, that the fans saw that we had a great mix of content from our partners and our studios, and that we met expectations.

“What I’m really happy about is that, this time, there are a lot of independent developers who will be with us as well within the time frame for release.

So you saw some of those titles today: Annapurna’s The Pathless, Young Horses’ Bugsnax. And then a franchise that dates back to the first PlayStation, featuring Oddworld.

“We have Oddworld Soulstorm from Oddworld Inhabitants … it’s great to see how far that franchise has come and how it will be introduced to a whole new generation on PS5.”
