PS5 Console Exclusive Deathloop has been postponed to Q2 2021

Deathloop Game

Well, that’s one less PlayStation 5 launch game to look forward to. Arkane Lyon has made the understandably difficult decision to delay Deathloop to Q2 2021, which means it will miss the launch of Sony’s next-gen console by a considerable number of months. The team states that it will soon share another update on the game, but the delay is an essential one, as the world continues to fight the coronavirus pandemic while working from home.

In a statement op Twitter, said the developer: “Our ambition for Deathloop is to deliver a signature Arkane game that takes you to never before seen places in a stylish new world. At the same time, the health and safety of everyone at Arkane Lyon remains our top priority. “As we adapt to the work at home, we find that delivering this new and exciting experience, at the Polish and quality level that defines both an Arkane game and a true next gen experience, takes longer than normal.”

The extra time this Arkane Lyon gives will allow it the chance to bring the world and its characters to life. Have you been looking forward to playing Deathloop at the launch of the PS5? Will you now instead of that invest time and money in another title? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
